Age: 20 Moons
Honors: SkyClan
Gender: She-cat
Clan: SnowClan
Rank: Warrior
Relationships:
Milkwhisker (mom, dead)Appearance:
Whiterain (sister)
Frostfoot (former mentor)
Snowkit (brother)
Sweetrose is graceful. She has never been very strong, but she is better at movement than most cats. She is very good at being sneaky. Her fur is mostly an off-white creamy color that contrasts with her amber eyes. She has long, silky fur that never seems to get dirty despite its color.Personality:
She has tiny white claws that look like snow-covered thorns and ears that look to big for her head. Sweetrose is very self-conscious about her ears.
Sweetrose is one of quietest cats in RiverClan. She can be described as painfully shy. She often prefers not to start conversations and won't speak unless spoken to. She has a calm and introverted personality. However, she wishes she were able to be more open and outgoing. Her lack of friends or companions isn’t by choice and she often wishes for company. She dreams of having an apprentice if only so that just maybe she would be able to form a bond with someone. She is very trusting and would be a loyal companion to one who wished her company.History:
She has a very peaceful aura and can be found to be comforting. She is good at masking her emotions when needed. She is very non-violent and only fights when required. Even then she hates to do so and does only as much damage as she needs.
Sweetrose has little interest in having a mate or starting a family. She is more focused on friends and acceptance. If a tom came after her, then she would definitely take him as her mate, but she doesn't want to look for one because she's afraid of being rejected. She has quiet dreams of either having an apprentice or becoming deputy. It isn’t really for her ambitions, but maybe that the position would award her the acceptance and trust from her Clanmates that she has been seeking since she was a kit.
Kithood: Not long after a flood, Sweetkit was born in a litter of two and named for her soft nature. She scared her mother at first because she would not mew, but Tealeaf assured Milkwhisker that her kits were healthy. In a sense, she knew her father (who had visited her only once when she was born) but did not remember him.Roleplay Example:
Sweetkit and her sister Whitekit were not close. Whitekit was outgoing and Sweetkit was quiet, and Sweetkit began to feel jealous about all of the attention that Whitekit got. It didn't help that Whitekit liked to brag a lot about how she was bigger, stronger, and prettier, and that she had more friends. She also liked to tease her sister about her ears.
Apprenticeship: Sweetpaw wasn't ready to be an apprentice. She was very timid and her mentor, a huge tom named Frostfoot, scared her. He didn't mean to, but the tom was strict and had a slight temper. Whitepaw's mentor was much more suitable, a gentle she-cat named Longstripes. Sweetpaw's sister learned more quickly than she and lorded it over her quiet sister for quite some time.
Warriorhood: After twelve moons of hard work and a slowly progressing relationship, Sweetpaw finally threw her apprentice name away and became Sweetrose. Whitepaw had been made Whiterain two moons earlier than she, and most cats agreed that it was a bad choice to further separate the two sisters.
A moon after her warrior ceremony, Sweetrose's mother died giving birth to a second litter of kits by an unknown tom. Only one of Milkwhisker's three premature kits survived, a tiny ball of fluff that she named Snowkit with her dying breath. Snowkit did the one thing that no cat had ever been able to do. Sweetrose and Whiterain began to bond over his care, Sweetrose proving to be a natural at nurturing. Snowkit's foster mother, a tired old queen who should have gone to the elders den moons ago, is happy to have the sisters there.
Sweetrose purred softly, giving her tiny brother another lick on the head. It was her turn to groom Snowkit, and the she-cat loved her time with him. The little tom hadn't yet opened his eyes, but she knew that he knew she was there. He nudged her with weak motions and mewled softly when he was alone. She could even hear him purring sometimes.Pictures:
Snowkit was truly a miracle. How he had survived when his mother, brother, and sister had not was something that Sweetrose and Whiterain would never know. She was just happy enough that he had.
