Appearance:
Badgernose is a brown ticked tabby cat. He has slightly large ears, no abnormality here. His frame is pretty well built for his Clan. While most of his body follows the pattern of a brown ticked tabby, his tail is black and gray. Golden and copper make up his eye colors. His eyes seem to glimmer when he is in a bad mood and can get his paws on anything. When he is happy they seem to give off almost a friendly appearance. Large front paws make for a well blow to an enemy.Personality:
His claws, he usually keeps sharpened and ready for battle. One large ring of black circles his neck while the rest around it is light brown. He is larger than most cats, but not to the point where he seems like a giant. Badgernose gives off a cold appearance and seems like one that is not to be messed with very much. If you would like a detailed description of this tom, one might say get up close and personal. There you can see his real potential, not only does he give off the look harmful, he is harmful.
Badgernose eats as if he is starving to death, when he eats he tears into his food and swallows it down in gulps. Badgernose tries to be observant to others feelings when he does eat, but has failed to do so. His pelt is slick and thin mainly, this is due to the fact that he is a RiverClan cat. He was born to swim as were his ancestors and current Clanmates. So it is only natural that his body is accustomed to the rapids of the river flowing through their territory.
Badgernose is the kind of tom who loves to put up a good fight. He has every bit of potential a warrior has and uses most of it for battling when the time comes. He is somewhat aggressive when accused of disloyalty and murder. He has never killed a cat without being in combat with them or if it was accidental. Badgernose can be a hard tom to train, even if he is a warrior. You might often see him muttering to himself-no he is not insane, he is simply punishing himself for not being harder, stronger.History:
When alone he can be found to be a softy inside, though he would never show his true feelings. He is one not to follow orders, much less listen to them! He only does so when he thinks he can get into trouble or when he believes its needed.
When he is in battle he wants to show his enemies pain. Watch their eyes flash before them, before he lets them go to scramble off and away. Letting out a laugh of contentment the tom moves onto his next victim. This is not to go unsaid, the tom has received his fair amount of wounds and bloodshed. He makes sure to get each one checked out, never wanting them to scar. He loathes battle scars, even if they show the amount of victories he has had.
Around his friends Badgernose can relax to a point where his tail actually rests on the ground without constantly flicking around. He loves being around others even if its just to pester them about anything and everything.
He grew up in RiverClan with his siblings and parents. His mother and father were Maplefur and Oaktree. While his siblings were Mosskit and Riverkit, who died when they were several moons old. A nasty greencough had taken captive of several cats' lives in the Clan. Badgerkit was lucky to make it out alive. From then on his mother, Maplefur babied him like he was only a moon old. Badgerkit grew extremely irritated with this and lashed at her nose, this was his first sign of aggression. His apprenticeship came and he was known as Badgerpaw, his mentor was a warrior he would never forget, Ruffledpelt. This mentor had taught Badgerpaw to become who he is today. He looked up to him in every way possible and even thought of him as his biological father. He trained Badgerpaw extremely hard and treated him as if he was a warrior. Badgerpaw, at the end of the day was always dirty and worn out, from there he would take to his bed to sleep.Roleplay Example:
Finally! The time had come, Badgerpaw was to become Badgernose. He stepped up proudly to the high rock to take his name in honer. He had listened while the Clan shouted his name and loved the rush the feeling gave him. Sitting vigil that night Badgernose was able to detect what he most wanted in his life. He wanted to be Deputy, and he was going to achieve this by doing what he could. He wasn't bloodthirsty, but power hungry some might say. He was going to have to prove his worth some day.
When Badgernose was several moons into his warriorship he was more respected, he was thought to have 'grown up' and become a civilized warrior like the rest of them.
A moon later he was given his first apprentice, he trained him extremely well. His apprentice was Rapidpaw, though when his apprentice was ready for her warrior ceremony she died in the water currents. This struck Badgernose harder than anything else had. He was devastated but quickly moved on from it.
Several moons later Badgernose was called to Oakstar's den, the tom panicked and began to grow insanely curious as to why the leader would want to see him? Then the thought hit him like a nail on a hammer. He was an excellent fighter, swimmer and hunter. He took orders when told and gave them out just the same.
Later in the evening Badgernose was made deputy of RiverClan for the abilities that the tom possessed.
Because Oakstar felt that Badgernose had immense potentia, as well being the only suitable cat for the job, Oakstar felt no regrets about giving Badgernose such an important position within the Clan.
Badgernose awoke to a cold morning breeze, leaf-fall was among them once more. Getting to his paws the tom stretched his stiff legs and headed out of the warriors' den. His cold eyes scanned the clearing rapidly before shrugging his massive shoulders and heading to the fresh-kill pile. Grabbing a fish he took to eating it savagely, in large bites.Pictures: Codeword:
He quickly announced the next border and hunting patrols, before he took to the shades of a tree with no shelter. He watched as some of the warriors hesitated to come over and talk to him. They took several pawsteps forward before taking another back. He let out a mocking laugh before shaking his head, "If you want to talk come on forward," the ticked tabby meowed almost daring them to. A flick of his tail sent two tabbies away.
Content with himself and the way things turned out, the tabby laid himself down in a dry patch of dirt, the sun was gone and leaf-bare had taken its toll. He yawned and closed his eyes, listening to the soft murmuring of the voices from around him. These cats' were his Clanmates, cats he was suppose to know.
Not needed?
